We would like to inform you about a new type of phone scam. Fraudsters pose as Team Telecom Armenia employees and claim that your number will be disconnected unless you perform certain "settings" to activate 5G.

They then contact users via WhatsApp or other apps, send suspicious links or programs, and ask to disable security settings and install the app.

We block fraudulent numbers and do everything we can to protect our subscribers. At the same time, we remind you: no app installation or additional configuration is needed to activate 5G.

Team Telecom Armenia representatives will never ask you to:

🚫 install unknown applications,
🚫 disable your security settings,
🚫 share your banking or financial information.
