14^th of November 2019, Yerevan. Within the scope of the joint StartHub project between Beeline Armenia and Technology Development Center Foundation, another StartHub Offline workshop took place. StartHub Offline is a series of events, where the start-up representatives hold discussions with the lead players of the IT industry.

The workshop was titled: “Technologies of the Future: Artificial Intelligence”. The speakers were: Ashot Arzumanyan, SmartGateVC Venture Fund Partner and Co-Founder, Tigran Petrosyan, SuperAnnotate Co-Founder, and Naira Nazaryan, Head of Public Relations, Beeline Armenia.

During the workshop the speakers presented the evolution process of Artificial Intelligence technologies both worldwide and in Armenia. They pointed out the importance of training of skilled workers and of creating an appropriate scientific-research and educational environment. A reference was made to the successful Armenian start-ups that are based on AI technologies. 

“The state of the art technologies are always in the focus of our attention, since we work in the industry of Information Technologies and we are frequently networking with the technological start-ups. Hence, the Artificial Intelligence is the area with a big role anticipated for future and offering a lot of solutions even today. We are watching the development of this industry to be able to apply these cutting-edge and powerful opportunities in our work”, said Naira Nazaryan, Head of Public Relations, Beeline Armenia.

In the previous years due to the fast development of start-up ecosystems and IT in Armenia we are entering into the stage of artificial intelligence from quite advantageous perspective. A number of successful and fast-growing start-ups and companies are there to prove it. I am very thankful to our speakers for the very useful and informative meeting.”, said Samvel Chakhalyan, Chairman of the Technology Development Center Foundation Board.
